WHAT IS JOB PURSUIT?
Job Pursuit is an annual job fair sponsored and hosted by a consortium of private, independent Michigan Colleges and Universities. It is a highly unique opportunity to explore employment opportunities and interview for positions in the same day.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Sophomores, Juniors, and seniors from participating schools who are interested in exploring internship and employment opportunities with a variety of companies. There are opportunities in business, social services, and government for a broad array of majors.
HOW MUCH DOES THE FAIR COST AND HOW DO I REGISTER?
Registration is required and the cost is $10.00 (which will be returned to you the morning of the event). To register, you must contact the Career Services Center at your respective school. Registration is required. You will be assigned a number that will identify you to the employers for the day. Deadline to register is Friday, February 8, 2019.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE AND WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
You should research the companies that will be in attendance and target the companies that you want to interview with. Bring plenty of resumes with your assigned number marked in red, in the upper right hand corner of each one. Dress professionally; a modest business suit for both men and women is appropriate. Limit the amount of jewelry and cologne you wear.
